JOE LOUIS PUERTA RELEASES CHRISTMAS SINGLE ON
UNIVERSAL/EYECON Joe Louis Puerta, founding member of Ambrosia, and
alumnus of Bruce Hornsby and the Range, debuts his
first solo single “I’m Comin’ Home For Christmas.”
Recorded at the Exchange Studios in Milwaukee, Puerta
delivers a soulful performance that is stirring
praises from Ambrosia fans as well as new followers.
Jim Cortez (The Warriors Ride) has created a video to
the song that dramatically pictures generations of
families, friends, and members of our Armed Forces
returning home for Christmas. Eyecon/Universal has
signed the single for digital distribution, setting it
up on itunes and all other on line distributors.
Eyecon and Puerta’s label, Pfloater Productions, have
elected to contribute a portion of the project to the
Disabled American Veterans.
Look for AC, HOT AC, AAA, and Heritage Rock radio
stations to begin airing the song after November 13th
when programmers begin to turn their attention to
Christmas programming.
“I’m Comin’ Home For Christmas” was written by long
time Ambrosia supporter, Bill Pfordresher, who shares
the production duties with Puerta. Brad Gilderman,
(Destiny’s Child, Brian Wilson, Eric Clapton) mixed
and mastered the tune at his Little Big Room studios
in Burbank. Puerta intends to follow up this
Christmas song with further solo projects that are
currently in the works.
I'm Comin' Home For Christmas was featured Thursday December 7th on a special Christmas themed episode of ER:City Of Mercy. Thanks for tuning in. It got close to a full minute of airtime which is significant.
The song has reached #1 at WRVR in Memphis and #2 at WRIT in Milwaukee, but we need more. We hope that ER will help to kick the door down.......
